'For residents of Nottingham this is the defining building of the city. I wanted to show it in a different light for this image as part of my infrared project. I initially framed a fairly standard shot of the council house, however, what really made this shot was the tender moment of the people in the foreground leaning on each other. This tender moment of humanity really made the photo.'
